Microsoft has been to the Operating System what Google is to search engine, but the new step from Google is to produce their own Google Operating System called Chrome. The news was like a bomb on the internet and everyone was surprised and amazed with this announcement a couple of days ago. The operating system is likely to hit the market in 2010 but are you aware of its features that will make it stand apart from the Microsoft OS?

Here are some of the features of Google Chrome OS that sounds very lucrative for all the computer users:

• First and foremost it will be open source and hence free for all. Microsoft has made lots of money by charging for their OS systems but since there were not many good options for OS available, everybody preferred it. Google Chrome OS will however, prove to be a great benefit in this regards.
• Secondly, Google Chrome OS is specially made to give quick access to the internet. In fact, Google claims that the users of the system will be able to open up internet in few seconds and thereby be internet friendly.
• One of the best features about Google OS is that there will be no need for installing the anti-virus software manually as it will automatically be done by Google itself.
• The desktop apps are also not a matter of concern as the Chrome plus Gears, Google Wave and HTML 5 will be taken care of by the web browser. The web platforms such as Flash and Silverlight all combine into a single wonderful computing device.
