For instance, AT&T changed its logo of a bell after it expanded its business beyond just telephones connection. Thus, the point is that it should be according to your corporate identity.
Another aspect that you need to check is whether the logo is still functional for your business. The logo should integrate with the context of your business in an appropriate way. The logo must be large and clear means it should have proper legibility and visibility. Is your company logo unique? If not then, it is certainly the time to revise your logo design. It should be completely different and should stand out from the rest of all your competitors.
Think over these issues and if you find that your logo is not up-to the mark from any of these standards then you certainly need to change your company logo.
