Adobe Promotes Web Application Development and Alters Social Network Amalgamation

San Jose, California – March 24, 2010 - Adobe has announced the instantaneous accessibility of Adobe Flash Builder 4 and ColdFusion Builder software, the next generation of Flash Platform tool for creating multi-platform Rich Internet applications (RIAs). Adobe has also contributed a new Social Network service to the newly introduced Adobe Flash Platform services. The Social service efficiently amalgamation between Web application development and 14 leading social networks using Facebook Connect, Sign-in with Twitter, MySpaceID and LinkedIn.

Flash Builder 4 is a development tool used for quickly building multi-platform rich Internet applications (RIAs) and content by using the open source Flex framework. Developers can build more spontaneous Web applications that allow customers, partners, and employees to better understand and use data, leading to increased levels of productivity, satisfaction and effectiveness. Flash Builder 4 speeds up development and testing of RIAs and content, providing new and amended coding and testing capabilities, while allowing designers and developers to more efficiently collaborate using new integrated workflows with Adobe Creative Suite. Flash Builder 4 changes improved integration with a diversity of data back ends as well as PHP, ColdFusion, Java and Adobe LiveCycle, and easy introspection and utilization of REST and SOAP based services.

The updated open source Flex 4 framework now includes new component architecture for RIAs providing complete separation of manifestation and functionality, altering each to be changed independently without moving the other. The new shinning and component architecture, code-named Spark, builds on top of the existing MX architecture, furnishing a much more well-organized mechanism for developers and designers to work together to control the appearance of their Flex applications.

In alliance with Gigya, the new Adobe Flash Platform Services, Social service modifies developers to quickly integrate applications produced with Flash Builder and Adobe Flash Professional with social networks. Developers no longer require doing integrating with each different, continuously changing social network service and API to supply user access to multi networks. A single Flash Platform Services layer will perform the heavy lifting across multiple social networks. Furthermore, the Social service will supervise each social network site to make sure changes to APIs do not break applications.

Today’s accessibility of Flash Builder 4 comes in advance with much predictable release of Flash Player 10.1, as expected in the first half of 2010. Currently available in beta version, Flash Player 10.1 and Adobe AIR 2 software allow designers and developers to use the same code, assets, frameworks, tools and services to build the most significant applications, content and video for the browser and the desktop, as well as mobile platforms in the future.

ColdFusion Builder is a new Eclipse based integrated development environment (IDE) for speedily and professionally building ColdFusion applications and is integrated with Flash Builder 4 for fast and easy RIA development. ColdFusion Builder furnishes an amalgamated, customizable and extensible development environment to code applications, supervise servers and organize projects.
