Caffeine – Google’s next step in web evolution

June 10, 2010 - Google has never fallen short in meeting the user expectations of something more. The announcement of Caffeine project completion strikes one more illustration showing the user-caring attitude of Google. Caffeine – the new search index of Google has arrived!

Let’s see what it has come to replace. As opposed to Google’s current search index, Caffeine delivers fresher and updated content, highlighting real-time search results, whether it’s a news story, blog or a forum post. Caffeine processes web pages with a staggering speed, hundreds of thousands of pages in parallel, and indexes web pages on an enormous scale. This enables Google to offer the largest collection of web content so far. This is a great job as it meets the growing expectations of searchers and publishers both.

So now ‘Googling’ is “fresher, larger and faster”!!!
