Know Your Favorite Search Engine without Bias

Recently, a blind search tool was created by Michael Kordahi, a Developer Evangelist at Microsoft. It is a unique tool that provides you with the search results for your keywords from all the three leading search engines namely, Google, Yahoo!, and Bing all at the same time but without displaying the name and the logo of the search engine. Once you select the results of the search engine that best fits to your requirements you get to know which the search engine the results belong to.

This is definitely very useful in identifying as to which search engine can provide you with best results for the kind of search that you make. Generally, all the people feel that Google searches are the best since it has a very well established name in the world of search engine. However, this might not be true all the time. There are search engines that do provide with similar or even better results for our search. This tool enables us to know our most chosen search engine without being biased.

The fact that it strips down all the branding of the search engines is an amazing thing. It impels you to think about which results are the best for you or are better. This tool enables you to know that the search results of all the websites is distributed evenly with Google at nearly 44 %, Yahoo with approximately 23% and Bing with almost 33 %. Hence, it just contradictory to the 70% market share of Google.
